Architectural History

AHS’s staff of architectural historians has decades of experience in conducting historic resource surveys, preparing state and federal-level documentation, advising on rehabilitation projects, and coordinating historic preservation tax credits.  Our versatile staff members are experts in all building types, such as historic houses, barns, mills and factories, commercial and municipal buildings, libraries, theaters, schools, train stations, and places of worship. We also have considerable experience with bridges and engineering structures such as dams and water-control features, railroads, and lighthouses.
