Above-Ground Resources
AHS has the expertise to identify, document, and interpret all types of above-ground historical resources, to assess their significance, and to develop and implement impact mitigation strategies. There is virtually no type of historic resource with which we are not familiar: historic buildings, factories, bridges, dams, railroad components, maritime structures, cultural landscapes, and cemeteries. We also document and evaluate ethnohistoric and ethnographic resources such as sites, structures, objects, and landscapes that are culturally important.
